Katy Richfield

Katy Richfield is an accomplished art specialist with over 20 years of experience in the global art market.
She has worked with premier institutions, including the Moco Museum in London, Amsterdam, and Barcelona, where she led curatorial initiatives featuring renowned artists such as Damien Hirst, Yayoi Kusama, and Banksy.
Katy has also served as Art Advisor to Sir Paul Smith, managing high-profile acquisitions and curating landmark exhibitions, including collaborations with Chihuly Studio.
Her career spans roles at prestigious organizations like Christie’s Auction House, specialising in Old Masters, and Richard Green Fine Art, where she developed expertise in 19th and 20th-century art.
Katy also founded and directed contemporary art galleries in Sydney, showcasing Indigenous Australian art and fostering meaningful collaborations with communities.
With a deep understanding of both emerging and established art markets, Katy brings exceptional expertise, curatorial vision, and a passion for supporting artists. We are thrilled to welcome her to the judging panel for the Women in Art Prize.
