Irene Pouliassi

a leading London-based gallery dedicated to fostering top emerging and established artistic talent. Under her leadership, the gallery has become a dynamic space for contemporary dialogue, showcasing bold and innovative voices in the art world through exhibitions and artistic projects.
Alongside her curatorial work, Pouliassi is an accomplished sculptor whose practice explores materiality, psychological tension, and contemporary identity. Her work is rooted in experimental processes, often integrating industrial and organic elements to challenge traditional sculptural forms. Through a raw yet deliberate aesthetic, she creates pieces that embody dualities—fragility and strength, chaos and order, presence and absence.
Her sculptures have been exhibited internationally in major institutions, including the Tate Modern’s “Tate Exchange,” the Sejong Museum of Art in Seoul, the National Gallery of Greece, and the National Historical Museum of Tirana. She has also been featured in high-profile group shows such as Young Gods at CHARLIE SMITH LONDON and the Gwanghwamun International Art Festival.
A member of the Royal Society of Sculptors (MRSS) and a resident at the Bomb Factory Foundation, Pouliassi continues to push the boundaries of contemporary sculpture, balancing her dual roles as artist and curator to engage critically with the evolving art landscape.
